We believe delivering honesty to your users support your steps up the success ladder. Serve your users with solid factual content on your website. Every now and then websites tend to deceive the web users and search engine crawlers with incorrect information, this has bad repercussions.

If a visitor has been mislead by untruth information, for example free web hosting and then discovered the free hosting to be lie, the website will lose the visitor’s loyalty. Word of mouth will usually be spread with a negative comment which will cause a loss of potential visitors.

Misleading search crawlers again has bad consequences. Let’s take a look at Google’s search bot. Googlebot wonders around the web through millions of websites; looking up the websites, extracting information, it’s all perfect isn’t it? Not quite.

Some webmasters have a tricky way to fool this googlebot and attempt to provide the bot with non-related information to try and attract extra visitors. Webmasters preset different information to be shown when the googlebot comes around; this is commonly known as ‘cloaking’. Some webmasters get away with this trick unnoticed but quite frequently googlebot will discover this dishonest scam and as a result the website will suffer a penalty.

Other ways of dishonesty:
	Including hidden text and hidden links.
	Including non-related keywords and description into the page’s meta-tags.
	Creating similar pages to reproduce a duplicate content.
	Altering a text link’s display address (This is where the link redirects the user and is usually displayed on the status bar while hovering a link).

Focus on your users rather than your website ranking

Quality will attract users. Users will automatically develop a website rank depending on the quality. So what do you do? Aim for the website ranking or aim to provide quality to your users?

Webmasters tend to pay third-party companies to try and 'cheat’ themselves a good ranking. Is this a good idea? Certainly not. Satisfy your users with excellence and the users themselves will spread the word about your website, your ranking will grow.

Make people see it how you see it

When you create a website, you first have an initial idea. You believe your idea will head to become successful, but do your visitors see it as that? Your users are people who surf around the internet exploring millions of websites, all with different content and all with a different set of ideas. There are dozens of other websites out there which are similar to yours. Why would users visit your website rather than the other dozen available on the internet? Perhaps you know why they should visit your website, but do the hundreds of web users have the same thoughts? No? One keyword for all of this, explain.

Explaining what your website is about thoroughly is one of the major requirements of web content. The user would not know what your site is about unless you explain everything and when you do explain, explain how you see it. Explain why you produced the website, explain why you believe the web users should visit your website. What is good about your website? What services do you provide?

For example, take a chess game, you will not know what the game is about, why you should play it nor will you be aware of the rules unless you have read the instructions. The same principles apply to a website, your users will not know what your site is about nor will they know why they should visit it unless you explain it to them clearly.

Aim for quality rather than quantity

When you create a website for a particular purpose, you should assure it fulfils the purpose well. What does this mean? In simpler words, when a resource is provided, it should be supplied with quality features.

Quality is what a webmaster should be aiming for. For instance, take Google. Google offers nothing more or less but a search; search with quality features assuring it satisfies its users. They do not offer weather details, dating services or anything unconnected with search.

Nowadays webmasters tend to target a large audience by having almost everything listed on their website. The services provided on some sites vary from unrelated things such as news headlines to online kid games. This is a bad idea as webmasters cannot really provide a quality service for each section as these are entirely different. As an alternative, webmasters should pick a particular category and concentrate providing it with quality features. For example, Google providing quality Search.

Fast is better than slow
Immediate satisfaction is the key to a successful website. When you visit a page, you want the resource ready with quick accessibility.

Easy NavigationWhat is meant by quick navigation? Easy to access content without having to go through complicated links to find it. Good accessibility is essential; navigations should be placed in almost every possible way to help users navigate through different aspects of the site easily.

Users are usually unaware of a site’s full content. So how do you help them become aware of the other dozens of content? Related links! You simply link one service to another service assuring they are someway related. Related linking contributes to quick navigation which is again very critical to a website.

For instance, during the summer season, a website about weather conditions may add a link to another part of the website providing information on summer clothing. Users will most likely visit this additional link as it provides secondary information on something they may be interested in.

Simple Content
Which sort of content would you prefer, heavy slow or quick simple? Personally, I’ll select ‘quick simple’. One of the best recommendations of a web design is simplicity. Who needs fancy large graphics to attract visitors? Statistically speaking, users will often make a visit to your website for a certain service or specific information and users will not be vastly impressed if every time their attend to the site, they are forced to download heavy content due to images and graphics.

Let people know you exist

Approximately 70% percent of the websites existing on the internet believe they provide nonsense service due to no increasing visitors. But do the web users actually know about the website’s existence? You cannot determine if a website visitors are decreasing or increasing when the web users do not actually know about your website.

So how do you let users acknowledge your website?
	Try to have related sites link to your website. (Make sure the websites that link to you are decent as you can easily receive a bad reputation by bad neighbours)
	Share the word to your local mates on the internet, perhaps letting the member at your local message board know your site is online.
	Submit your site to Search Engines.
	Submit your site to relevant website directories. You could add your website to the iWEBTOOL directory.

To download Flash Player, enable JavaScript in the browser.

Internet Explorer

In Internet Explorer, click Tools > Internet Options.

Under Security, select Internet.

Click Custom level.

In the Security Settings page, scroll down to Scripting.

Select Enable for Active Scripting.

Click OK.

Select Trusted Site and perform steps 3 - 6.

Go to the Flash Player download page to download Flash Player.

In Mozilla Firefox

In Firefox, click Tools > Options.

Select Content and then select Enable JavaScript.

Click OK, and close and open Firefox.

Go to the Adobe download page to download Flash Player.

Google Chrome

Note: Flash Player is installed with Google Chrome. Use the steps below only if you want to download Flash Player for a different browser or operating system.

In Google Chrome, click Settings.

Click Show Advanced Settings.

Go to Privacy and click Content Settings.

In the Content Settings page, select Allow All Sites to Run JavaScript.

Click OK, and close and open Chrome.

Go to the Adobe download page to download Flash Player.

Reason: The Flash Player installer sometimes has trouble working in some firewall proxy server environments.

Workaround: Download the Adobe Flash Player installer directly by clicking one of the following links.

Reason: Antivirus software from vendors like Comodo, Jiangmin, and Rising are incorrectly identifying the Adobe Flash Player installer as malware. False reports from these vendors include “TrojWare.Win32.Trojan.Agent.Gen,” “Trojan/JmGeneric.bcy,” and “Suspicious.” Users are also reporting “Failed to Initialize” errors and the installer is getting quarantined.

Workaround: Antivirus software vendors and service providers are currently addressing this issue so that the installer is recognized as being legitimate. Ensure that your antivirus signatures are up-to-date.

If the issue persists, use the direct links for Internet Explorer or direct links for other browsers to download Flash Player installer.

Reason: Your computer is installed with a Flash Player version that’s later than the version you are trying to install.

Solution: Check the Flash Player version installed on your computer. The latest version of Flash Player available on your computer is provided in the same page. Install the latest version.

If you need an older version, uninstall the existing version. Older version of Flash Player is provided in the Flash Player archive page. Then, install the latest version.

Note: To uninstall Flash Player beta, use the corresponding Flash Player beta uninstaller available in Adobe Labs.

Reason: You are trying to run more than two instances of Flash Player installers simultaneously.

Solution: Click OK to the message that appeared. One of the installers gets closed and the other installer continues automatically.

Reason: An application is still using Flash Player.

Solution: Close the application and try installing again.

Look at the icons in the system tray for programs that run in the background. Examples include AOL Instant Messenger, Yahoo! Messenger, and games that use Flash (any file with a name that ends in .swf). If you see such an icon, right-click the icon and click Exit.

Reason: The VeriSign certificate is not installed in the machine.

Solution: Check the network connectivity. Ensure that your machine has enough virtual memory. If the issue persists, use the direct links for Internet Explorer or direct links for other browsers to download Flash Player installer.

Reason: You don't have administrator permissions on your computer.

Solution: Log in to your computer as an administrator.

Select the Start menu on the lower left of the screen.

Select Control Panel.

If you see a selection named User Accounts, you have administrator permissions.

If you see a selection named User Accounts And Family Safety, you do not have administrator permissions. Follow these steps:

Home users: Create a user account with administrator permissions. Log in to that account and try reinstalling Flash Player. For more information, see the Microsoft^® Help page Create a user account.

Workplace users: In Windows Vista^® and Windows 7^®, regardless of your permissions, you can run any application as an administrator. To run an application as an administrator, right-click the filename and select Run As Administrator. Provide the administrator ID and password when prompted.

If you need more help, contact your system administrator.

IT professionals: Administrative permissions are necessary so that the Adobe Flash Player installer can access the Windows system registry and the following folder:

C:\WINDOWS\system32\Macromed\Flash folder for a 32-bit machine

C:\WINDOWS\SysWOW64\Macromed\Flash folder for a 64-bit machine

When you have logged in to Windows as an administrator, repeat the steps above under Download and install the latest Flash Player version.

If you ran a third-party tool or any type of registry cleaner to resolve Flash Player problems, run the Flash Player uninstaller, and then reinstall Flash Player. For details on the uninstaller for Flash Player, see Uninstall Flash Player.

Pop-up and ad blocker software can prevent the display of rich media content. For more information, see Movies do not appear after installing Flash Player.

Ensure that your firewall or utility settings are set to allow ActiveX controls and rich media content. Some Internet utilities, such as Norton Internet Utilities, act like firewalls and restrict viewing of ActiveX controls or block rich media content.

The following figure is an example of an Internet utility display. It shows that firewalls and Internet utilities can be configured to allow ActiveX content. Check your firewall or Internet utility documentation for more information.

If Internet Explorer displays the message "Internet Explorer has encountered a problem with an add-on and needs to close" and the message says that Adobe Flash Player was running when the problem occurred, see Flash Player crashes Internet Explorer | Windows XP, Windows Vista.

Follow these steps to install the correct version of Flash Player:

Verify that your computer meets the system requirements for Flash Player

Determine whether an older Flash Player version is already installed your computer

Download and install the latest Flash Player version

Verify that installation is complete

Uninstall the older Flash Player version (if the installation is not successful for any reason)

Compare your computer system to the Flash Player system requirements. If your system doesn't meet the requirements, don't continue to step 2. See Archived Flash Player versions.

See the information displayed below, and check if you have the latest available Flash Player version. The latest Flash Player version available for Windows is 11.8.800.168.

If Flash Player is installed on your computer, the following box displays the version of Flash Player and your operating system. If Flash Player is not installed, a blank box is displayed.

If Flash Player is not installed or you don’t have the latest version, download and install the latest Flash Player version.

Repeat step 1 and step 2 for each browser that you use.

Verify that Internet Explorer security and JavaScript settings are correct:

In Internet Explorer, choose Tools > Internet Options.

Select the Security tab.

Select the Trusted Sites zone.

If the Default Level button is not dimmed, select it.

Move the slider until the security level is Medium.

Click Apply.

Click Custom Level.

Find the section "Scripting."

Set Active scripting to Enable.

Click OK.

Select the Internet zone and repeat steps d to j.

Click OK. Close Internet Explorer and then restart it.

(If you use Internet Explorer 9) Disable ActiveX filtering:

In Internet Explorer, select Tools > Safety. If ActiveX Filtering is selected, deselect it.

Close Internet Explorer and then restart it.

Go to the Install Adobe Flash Player page. Click Install now.

Installation process is initialized.

In the File Download window that appears, click Run.

Select the check box to indicate that you have read and agree to the terms of the license agreement and click Install.

When the following window appears, close Internet Explorer. Installer automatically starts after you close Internet Explorer.

The Adobe Flash Player installer window appears, and Flash Player begins to install.

After a successful installation, select the update method. By default, the Automatic Update option is selected. Selecting this option updates Flash Player without your manual intervention, whenever a new version is available. Adobe recommends you to use this option for Flash Player update. Click Done.

Go to the Install Adobe Flash Player page. Click Install now.

Installation process is initialized.

In the window that appears, click Save File.

The Downloads window appears. Double-click the Flash Player installer.

If one of the following windows appears, click Run or Yes.

Select the check box to indicate that you have read and agree to the terms of the license agreement and click Install.

When the following window appears, close Firefox. Installer automatically starts after you close Mozilla Firefox.

The Adobe Flash Player installer window appears, and Flash Player begins to install.

You don’t have to install Flash Player if you use Chrome. Flash Player is integrated into Chrome and enabled by default. Chrome automatically updates when new versions of Flash Player are available.

To ensure that you have installed the latest version of Chrome and have the latest version of Flash Player, select Chrome > About Google Chrome.

If you see the message “Google Chrome is up-to-date,” you have the latest version of Chrome.

If Chrome is not up-to-date, click Update Now.

Note: The integrated Google Chrome Flash plug-in cannot be uninstalled using the Flash Player uninstaller. You can only enable or disable the integrated plug-in as described in Using Flash Player with Google Chrome.

Open your browser and check the status of Flash Player.

For any reason if your installation is not successful, follow the instructions at Uninstall Flash Player.

Restart your computer.

Download and install the latest Flash Player version.
